Evan
I was pretty surprised by the low number of chanterelles we found after the 10+ inches of rain last week. We found some, but they were growing in the water that is still running from the rain! This is a first for us. We also found a few hedgehogs right near the chants. MattVa
Been kinda poor for me too this year on chants. Boletes are overwhelming right now. I love the hedge hogs but I have never had a big score on em. Is that ginseng or Virginia creeper between those chants in the first pic? Cool stuff at least you are on to some good quality. Evan
Yes, it's Virginia creeper. I don't know if ginseng grows here.
