Dave W Posted June 5, 2018 Report Share Posted June 5, 2018 Nice! There are only a few eastern NA species of Strobilomyces. Up here we have strobilaceus (floccopus) and the aptly named confusus. The physical attributes said to separate these two are not completely reliable. The only way to be certain about which of these you have it's necessary to view the ornamentation on the spores.
