Dave W
Looks like two types of mushroom on this one log. The ones with gills... These are either Panellus stipticus or a species of Lentinellus, all of which have white spore print. P. stipticus mushrooms have short off-center stalks. Lentinellus mushrooms are most;y without stalks, although some types occasionally have stalks. Lentinellus gills have edges that are jagged/serrated. The ones that are broadly attached to the log and likely a polypore (no gills). Likely a species of Stereum, possibly S. complicatum. Stereum mushrooms have pores that are so small they cannot be seen with the naked eye.
