Horn of plenty?

Hi all

My 3 years old son has spotted these today and I guess they are horn of plenty.

Could you please have  a look?

If so, could you please suggest me the best method how to dry them? I can't eat them in a short... thank you very much!

Looks like black Trumpets I find , I use a dehydrator to dry them. A low heat oven would also work. They dry fast so you could probably air dry them in a window perhaps like DaveW does Morels.

Black trumpets dry well just laid out on a grate where the sunlight comes in through a south-facing window. An attic window is perfect for this. Sun-dried trumpets may be dried to potato-chip-brittle state by finishing in a warm over fir maybe 10 minutes or so. Turn off the oven and allow the door to be open for another 5-10 minutes before storing the mushrooms in glass jars with tight-fitting lids.
