CajnGrlNLehighValley
Hi Everyone and fellow shroomers!!!! Im new to the forum so thanks for allowing me to join in and learn. Need advise on the best ways you have found to preserve the flavor of Golden Chanterelles. Some say saute' in butter, then freeze, others say flash freeze or blanche then freeze. Have some extras I want to preserve correctly and want to do them right. Also have some Black Trumpets. Some have already been dried and they really shriveled up and it appears will yield only a small amount once milled to powder. Is there another way to preserve these that will allow them to keep their shape? Thanks in advance Edited August 15, 2017 by CajnGrlNLehighValley wrong word
