Mr. Matherly appears to update the map every few days so it provides a good idea of where morels are actually being found. The finds generally progress northward at the rate of about 100 miles per week depending on weather and left leaning politicians. Dave W Posted March 25, 2017 Report Share Posted March 25, 2017 Northward progression of morels can stall in the mid-Atlantic, regardless of prevailing political theory. I think this year may turn out to be a prime example. The warm spell in February got things started early down south. The March blizzard set things back here in NE PA and points north.
