I think there may be some old carpet buried there but I can't be sure about that. I'm new to this so if you need any other info or pictures let me know. Thanks! Of course, there are types of mushrooms that occur in Florida that I'd never see up here in Pennsylvania. Okay, here's an idea (not real confident here)... Clitocybe subconnexa.
