shroomersue
Here are two boletes that were found recently near oak, beech in southwestern ontario. Suede bolete? Red Cracking bolete? I really liked the colors on that first one!
Dave W
I think the one with the bent stalk may be Xerocomellus chrysenteron. The red-capped one is possibly Boletus harrisonii. I suspect this species is soon headed to a new genus, maybe Hortiboletus?
shroomersue
Thanks Dave for your input. Trying to get me some knowledge on that big bolete category!
