eat-bolete
A bit tired of Suillus, I think I gathered enough for the winter, so hitting new spots, finding new mushrooms. 80% pines, 20% oaks. 1. Looks like Laccaria, but not sure which one. L. proxima? Widely spaced thick gills, tough fibrous stem, white spore print. Photo 1 2. Lots of these milkies around. Milk comes out white and in a few moments turns chartreuse. Spore print is white or very pale. Stem is really fragile. photos 2-3 3. These were growing right at the base of a pine. They feature stem with a hollow center. Spores don't want to deposit, maybe will try another specimen. photos 4-5 4. Chalciporus piperatus? No bruising, tastes peppery, was growing next to S. granulatus. photos 6-7 5. Not sure what these are but quite unique, never seen anything like that before. photo 8-
Dave W
Laccaria, maybe L. laccata. Lactarius, maybe this one http://www.mushroomexpert.com/lactarius_vinaceorufescens.html Tricholomopsis rutilans Chalciporus... Does it taste peppery? Bruise brown on the pores? Stinkhorn. For instance http://www.mushroomexpert.com/phallus_ravenelii.html
Puddleduck
Your first could be Laccaria bicolor. I get them around where I live too…
eat-bolete
Thanks Dave. Chalciporus did taste peppery. Bruising isn't too obvious, but yeah I guess it becomes a bit darker.
