Stumpjumper
Here's a time-line I made. It answered a few questions for me.

Stumpjumper
I was busy picking hundreds in the woods.. Those were in my yard, right next to the house. Made it kind of easy
Dave W
That's pretty cool Stumpjumper. They look like Elm morels.... large pointy-topped yellows growing in a cluster. Who'se singing that Donovan song?
ladyflyfsh
Um, Donovan?...pretty sure it also said so at the end of the clip
Dave W
Oh, okay... Donovan. Sounds like a different version from the original recording. Nice song.
Blake
That video now has 19,722 views! Congratulations on so many viewings. That growth time line just proves to me again that the grays are the yellows. The grays come first because they grow into the yellows. Gotta leave the Esculentas to grow into maturity. It is obviously worth the wait. Happy Hunting
Mushroom Jack
Welcome back Blake !! Stumpjumper, where in Michigan are you at ? It's good to see a fellow Michigander here !! Nothing happening in my neck of the woods yet. It's supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow, so I'll check some spots and report back.
