Just cute.. my husband carved me the cedar mushroom a couple years ago, it's sitting on a birch tree stump. There's always some fun growing around them! PXL_20260929_214054516.thumb.jpg.1878a0cf7db67f8bf8650e93ecdf6718.jpgPXL_20260929_214031105.thumb.jpg.5fc44df01ab5706663d6b1c93b208a9f.jpgPXL_20260929_214011658.thumb.jpg.6fb27feba609c5029f6786a0a8c5401d.jpg

Pholiota species growing from the base of the wood "mushroom".

In North America, no edible species of Pholiota growing naturally...meaning not inoculated by artificial spawn.
