Trumpet de mort, matsutake, gold chanterelles, porcinis, yellow foots, hedgehogs puffballs and a clump of blue chanterelles (not really chanties) which appear to be in abundance this year Crazy! vitog Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 In the Vancouver, BC area we had more rain than usual in August, which brought up some Chanterelles; but after 12 mm on Sep 2nd, there's been no rain and none in the next week forecast. We're still waiting for the fall rains. Quote

Wow, that is an absolute jackpot for New Brunswick! Finding matsutake and Trumpet de mort (black trumpets) in the same forage is incredible. The mushroom gods are definitely on your side this season!
