It's best to discuss one species of mushroom per thread. This way we minimize the chance of confusion. 

Only mushrooms that have been IDed and are known to be edible should be consumed. Even then, some people are sensitive to one type of mushroom that most other people eat with no problem. 

If your dog frequents an outdoor area, then it's a good idea to clear away any mushrooms that pop up there. Dogs have been known to poison themselves with mushrooms, often ones representing either genus Inocybe or genus Entoloma.
