Amaranthine Posted October 17, 2024 Report Posted October 17, 2024 I stumbled upon this mushroom, that at first glance resembled a baby pheasant. Upon closer inspection it had gills. It looked young but it's been dry and it felt very tough. When I looked scaly sawgill up, I found that they are typically tough. Does it look like it could have been a scaly sawgill? I never found those before.
