ID Request: Looks like a honey mushroom but definitely not…

Hello! I spotted a few clusters of mushrooms growing at the base of an oak tree in Massachusetts in September-now (early October) that at first blush look a lot like honey mushrooms. BUT the spore print is pinkish/rusty brown and the gills are yellow-ish. Any thoughts on ID?

I think these are a species of Gymnopilus. The growth pattern and spore print color --rusty orangish-- point in this direction. Genus Pholiota also makes sense.

My thoughts exactly Michele- doesn’t appear to be so… perhaps the mushroom printed was picked near the clump of pictured honeys and assumed to be the same species?  The clumped mushrooms are young while the printed mushroom is dehydrated pretty good.
