Leah Nicole
These mushrooms were growing in clusters all over my side yard, not individually. We're in the southeast, oak and hardwoods around, and they sprouted up after two days of rain. They cluster from a central point under the soil. The "gills" do not break off at all. The caps are a bit fragile. The stems are tan, don't break cleanly and they shred like string cheese. They have no noticeable odor. They aren't brightly colored. I've scoured the internet and haven't even come close to identifying them.
