Fizpok Posted August 26 Report Share Posted August 26 I found yellowish toxic bolete... but it doesn't look like it. I found "brilliant yellow" one, but it looks like it is yellow only outside. Kevin Hoover Posted August 27 Report Share Posted August 27 I’m not trying to be critical, but to have any real chance to identify a Bolete, it would help to have: View of the cap from above View of the stalk View of the pore surface after it has been pressed (to see if it changes color) View of the bolete cut in half (looking for color changes and pore depth) And if possible, what kind of a tree it was collected under.
