AGL
Hello forum! Just ran into these while on the trail, i was thinking the small ones could be Bay Boletes, but not 100% sure. For a second i thought admirable bolete, but i think the stem should be more violet. The large one could be the same species just more mature, again, not sure. Any help is highly appreciated. Found under conifer trees, northern GA.
AGL
Actually now that the large one is dry, it’s looking more like a king?

CajunShroomer3578
Looks like Tylopilus I find here in south Louisiana. Did you nibble a small piece to check for bitterness? I am very confident in saying these are NOT kings https://www.mushroomexpert.com/tylopilus_badiceps.html https://www.mushroomexpert.com/tylopilus_rubrobrunneus.html
