Feral Boy
Any idea what this might be? http://mushroomobserver.org/53102?q=1nHq I found it a couple years ago, under a white oak. Was thinking Amanita at first, until I saw no volva, rhizines, and reddish-brown spores. -- Feral Boy

Dave W
Agrocybe praecox is a cluster of species. Macro traits tend to vary quite a bit. Some I have found and IDed to this group lose the annulus fairly early on during the growth cycle. FB's shows an unusually large annulus.
