Puddleduck Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Here is a mushroom I found in freshly cut grass. The cap was about the size of my palm (I am 11 and have a small palm) and it was white with a ring. I also got a spore print and it was a white/cream colour! I tried to post pics of almost all angles! Please let me know if you know what it is or have a rough idea!
Dave W Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 I believe this is Leucoagaricus leucothites. Formerly Lepiota nacuinus. This type mushroom has white spores. Although itself not poisonous, Leucoagaricus leucothites closely resembles Amanita bisporigera, a deadly poisonous mushroom which also has a white spore print.
Puddleduck Posted November 12, 2014 Author Report Posted November 12, 2014 As I said before, I do not eat them so I will be safe! Thanks for the help! I just googled it and it looks right!
