thelawsofexploration Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Here is my fifth specimen. I have identified it as some type of psilocybin. Can anyone confirm or comment? All mushrooms were found in the Netherlands in a woodland area on the ground during and after a rain storm. Finally, sorry I did not make any spore prints. I did not know about this but will do so in the future! Thank you!
Dave W Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Out-of-focus photos are not nearly sufficient to warrant a proposal.
thelawsofexploration Posted October 26, 2014 Author Report Posted October 26, 2014 Thanks, Dave. These were taken with a macro lens, so I believe if you can zoom in a bit you can see that there are detailed focal points on the underside and cap. Thanks though.
Dave W Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Zoom shows some details on the gills. Not nearly enough info to tell... Psilocybe? Psathyrella? Panaeolina? Panaeolus? Hypholoma?
Feral Boy Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Take photos from farther away, and more of the mushroom will be in focus. Then, if we need to see a detail, we can zoom in. Also photograph mushrooms outside in open shade (not in direct sunlight) in order to show colors accurately. Inside incandescent lighting turns everything much too yellow.
