Just found this forum while looking for mushroom information

The pink-to-brown gills that do not attach to the stalks (ie. "free gills") point toward genus Agaricus. But, I don't think these are the type called "Meadow Mushrooms", which are species in the Agaricus campestris group. Agaricus is a very large genus (lots of species), and some types will cause illness if consumed. Agaricus species tend to be distributed regionally, and I don't know much about the mushrooms of FL. There are a few field guides specific to SE North America.
