Regarding the last photo, no i just had the camera on auto everything. I'm not savvy with a camera, but this model takes nice photos Its a Canon sx30si. Makes me look like i know what im doing (shhhhhhh...... Although.......now that i think of it......i have been messing around with the HDR option, maybe that would explain it.
