Found these a couple of days ago.

No ring, white stem, slimy cap after a rain.

Clustered on a maple stump...............thx in advance. 8)

Looks like Hypholoma lateritium to me (new name for H. sublateritium). To be more certain, a spore print should be dark purple brown.

Is the last photo color-enhanced? Red looks bright to me.

Thx. Dave and yes the spore print (which i failed to mention) was dark purple brown.

Regarding the last photo, no i just had the camera on auto everything. I'm not savvy with a camera, but this model takes nice photos

Its a Canon sx30si. Makes me look like i know what im doing (shhhhhhh......

Although.......now that i think of it......i have been messing around with the HDR option, maybe that would explain it.
