Nutball
Found growing under eastern white pines in a place where firewood has been stored and processed, but not fora year or so. I thought they were suillus at first glance, but saw the gills.
Dave W
The somewhat rusty spore print suggests either Pholiota or Gymnopilus. These don't looks like Gymnopilus to me. So, I'm guessing Pholiota, except the white hairs on the base of the stipe and the marginal striations on the cap seem unusual for Pholiota. Here's an example for comparison https://www.mycoquebec.org/bas.php?trie=P&l=l&nom=Pholiota spumosa / Pholiote écumeuse&tag=Pholiota spumosa&gro=
