NorthernOdds
It's so small and so round... got a picture of the gills/underside? Â

Dave W
Typically, a "flower pot mushroom" turns out to be one of... Leucocprinus birnbaumii, one of a few species of tiny Lepiotas, or a dark spored mushroom like Tulosesus or Coprinopsis. But, this does not look like any if these! Is there a ring on the stalk? Scales on the cap surface?
Tasso
No ring, no scales. Slightly viscous to the touch. As big around as a dime.
Dave W
A puzzler! I'm guessing it's white-spored. The forked gills should be useful info.
Tasso
If I get a spore print I'll post it.
michele
Looking at the stalk, white without any sign of a ring, separeted from the gills, I would think it could be some kind of pluteus, pink spore
Dave W
The free gills do suggest Pluteus. But the gills are narrow and forked, unusual for the genus.
Tasso
Spore print white.
Dave W
Okay, a piece of the puzzle. Nothing has come to my mind yet.
