okieupnorth
I was foraging today and found a standing live maple with what looks like oyster mushrooms on it. I am nervous these may be angel wings or ghost fungus. I’ve attached some photos, and if folks could help me differentiate that would be appreciated
Kevin Hoover
Those look like oysters to me. I think angel wing grow on conifers. As you said, that’s definitely a maple.
Dave W
What is "Ghost Fungus?" I haven't heard this name. The ones in the photo look like Pleurotus to me (true Oyster Mushrooms).
