Violet something bolete

It's a Tylopilus (pink spores).  The taste is important for IDing them.  If it's bitter, try T. plumbeoviolaceus or T. violatinctus (If stem bruises yellow-brown).  If it's not bitter, well then I don't know and would need more info, like staining reactions, to try to ID.

Thanks. I thought I had it pegged for T. plumbeoviolaceus at first, but doubted myself as the pores darkened with spore. Also the rich brown caps don't seem very gray, so that gave me pause. The stems are perfect for the species though, and beautiful.
