Is this Megacollybia rodmanii?

Recommended Posts

Yes, this is Megacollybia, very likely M. rodmanii. There are a couple difficult to distinguish species of Megacollybia but M. rodmanii is considered to be the most common. One of these similar species has marginate gills (edges are dark). The gill attachment can be tricky to assess for Megacollybia.
