Corvus
Found on dead wood in hardwoods forest in SE Wisconsin. Couldn’t tell wood type. Could maybe be E. Glandulosa? Some concave portions of the fungus lead me to E. Recisa though. Anyone have any helpful comments? Thanks in advance.
Dave W
I'd say so. According to some mycologists the current correct name for what we've been calling Exidia recisa here in eastern NA is now Exidia crenata. Online you will see each name applied.
