Hen vs cauliflower?

I thought the top specimen was an old hen of the woods but now I'm wondering if this could be a cauliflower? The underside was white and smooth (pored). Did not bruise/stain when cut. The inside seemed to have a central stalk. Was by the stump of an uprooted tree.

The bottom picture looks like a baby hen of the woods to me? Was by the base of a tree.

Interesting specimen in the top photo. I think it's a specimen of Sparassis americana with fronds that are larger and more spread out than usual. Maybe it's a bit past maturity and kinda "blown out"? Fronds look to be too thin for Grifola.

Bottom photo looks like immature Grifola that has not yet expanded.
