They look like honey to me but I never identified them before. Raw they taste bitter as one mushroomer stated but if course I spit it out after. Dave W Posted October 22, 2021 Report Share Posted October 22, 2021 The really pale ones seen in the last photo are a bit unusual, although I have seen Armillaria mellea in a nearly pure-white form.
