Dave W Posted October 12, 2021 Report Share Posted October 12, 2021 Not sure about ones found in Italy, but the Clitopilus prunulus mushrooms I find here in Pennsylvania USA have much thinner stalks and are in general smaller. Gill attachment also looks wrong for C. prunulus (ie. the gills are not even slightly decurrent). I strongly doubt this mushroom represents C. prunulus.
