Brown Amanita or Armillaria

Found this possibly Amanita or similar in a forest off a drive with not any trees next to it. There is some yellow color on the bulb. Spore print is white. Cap feels kinda greasy.

Rough spore measurement 6.67-7.51 x 5.23-5.61.

Armillaria gallica?

These look like a species of Armillaria to me.

One helpful trait is seen by diagonally slicing through a stem. The exterior "skin" is fairly tough and fibrous and a bit darker than the white pithy/cottony interior flesh that you can dig out with the tip of a knife. Not  a certain indication of Armillaria, but helpful.   266378985_ArmillariamelleaML9-103.thumb.JPG.5f90918e81a18c5770aba22a005b2413.JPG
