Mushy mushy
Found this interesting looking mushroom on a mossy clearing. Found in Northeast (Connecticut), by a forest mostly populated with birch, oak, maple and pine. Cap is viscous, slippery, golden brown. Surface is not flat, uneven with various bumps Flesh and pores are white / off-white and the spore print is rusty brown to brown Does this look familiar to anyone? rbenn
Kind of looks like Hebeloma crustuliniforme, but just a guess.
Dave W
Species of Entoloma; compare with E. lividoalbum. Probably poisonous.
