Boletus rubriceps, the Newly Named King Bolete of the Rocky Mountains

Recommended Posts

I believe I have collected this type in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. Right next to the headwaters of the Colorado River, where it just a small stream you can almost jump across.

So I get to add another species to my personal edibility list!
