Dave W Posted August 27, 2021 Report Share Posted August 27, 2021 An Amanita mushroom will continue to mature even after it's picked. So, you may often get a spore print off an immature Amanita. Some other types of young gilled mushrooms may mature to the point where spores begin to drop, but often this will fail.
