  1. So my grandmother has a ton of these growing around a massive oak tree on some of the exposed roots that just break the surface. I ran clear over this set of mushrooms while mowing her yard and through one way or another it exploded all over one side of my body and face and a bit got in my mouth. I immediately spit it out and this has been a solid 24 hours with no ill effects . Just curious what they are. A cursory glance of the googles makes me think they are jack o lanterns but the coloring doesn’t seem right. thanks!
  2. Found growing in Kentucky bluegrass under a tree where it was consistently shady. Smells like a white button. A few days ago it had friends, a cluster of 3 of them in varying sizes a few inches away, but they're gone now. This tree is sandwiched between a building and sidewalk. Low key want to eat it. Appreciate any help
  3. Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me identify this mushroom. It was found in my backyard in Tennessee just below the top of the grass. I picked one in the same location a few weeks ago. I would like to know if it's harmful to my two dogs and if so, how I can go about getting rid of it for good. The area in the yard isn't covered by shade and doesn't tend to hold moisture other than morning dew. Thanks in advance!
