Hi, I'm an illustrator, sketched this fungus in western Belize and wonder what it is. It was not at all translucent, and the color was a muted purply red as shown,no stem. Size about two inches across on the bigger cap. I've seen several, so it's fairly common in this tropical rain forest of western Belize, near Benque Viejo on the Guatemala border where I live. I'm working on a flora/fauna of local species, posting here: https://friendsofbib.com/wildlife/ I'd like to post this one, but don't have a name for it. Anybody know?

So my dog MAY have eaten this mushroom. I would just like to know if it's something to worry about. Also, IF it is poisonous, what are the symptoms to look out for, and how long will it take for them to appear? Also, I dont know if it helps to give my geography, but we're in Houston, Texas.

I found this gorgeous mushroom in our N. GA woods this afternoon. They were growing under mixed hardwoods. I've seen them before, but never really investigated them. I'm still waiting for a spore print, but my tentative ID is that this is probably a Frost's bolete. Although all the descriptions say it stains blue, but this one didn't turn as blue as I expected.
