I found two saffron milk caps fruiting between two white pines in Ontario. I'm pretty sure they are Lactarius deliciosus. Spore print is light ochre. The cut area turned green overnight. Further down the trail from this spot in the forest, I found a quite a few Indigo milk caps.

Found in a douglas-fir bog growing on peat moss. False gills are present. These are tiny ! Must be a few days old. What are their growth rates like? Feedback welcome Cheers, Chris

Found a small patch of these growing next to a stream in central Ontario. Very small and yellow in colour, with false gills. Are they a species of Chanterelle?

Hello guys, first time harvested mushrooms this year. Are these oysters? Picked then from dead trees.

Hello all! I am very interesting in starting shrooming in my neck of the woods. I love the idea of growing my own food (which I do), and want to branch out I to foraging, especially for mushrooms. I don't understand what they are or how they work, but very willing to learn!

Hello all, I've picked up several of these a week ago at the Pinery provincial park (SW Ontario, Lake Huron). Curious if you could help me id'ing them - I don't even know how to call that vertical "fringe" on the stipe. The mushrooms had white, a bit yellow flesh in the cap, tubes darkened a bit on breaking, Stipe flesh was reddish on the outer part, yellow inside, slender. Cap was a bit flaky to smooth, light brown. They grew close to the slow river bank, mixed forest (pines/maples/oaks/whatever else). Thanks!

Both have light chocolate brown spores, nice mushroomy smell. Any ideas. I think if they smell nice don't have yellow staining and have pink gills there good to go. Right? BTW these were found in toronto, ontario, canada. Thanks in advance for your comments. Last photo has both mushies on papper. See the same colour of spore print? Same ginious different veriety?
