  1. New to mushroom hunting, and wanting to take some homeschooling this year kids out to experience the fun! Does anyone have any tried and true places in NW Florida that we should try? I am trying to create a positive (actually find something) experience so they can really get in to it!
  2. Looking to hook up with edible mushroom foragers in or around Wewahitchka, FL. I have a fair bit of knowledge and can identify a fair amount of species with confidence. There are a few finds from my new location I needed ID'd but broke my device and don't have the pics now... Anyways I need some like minded buddies to hunt, trade, and share with! I'm mainly a green thumb but want to broaden my horizons as much as possible. I've grown some mushrooms before but not to a massive degree and want to get reacquainted after several years now too. Please someone out there let's go looking! DShroomGuy
  3. Hello, i am in a field job, in this place local people hunting for this mushroom. ID please, it is in pasture on soil
  4. I live on the Olympic Peninsula and I'm looking for someone who would be willing to "train me" in mushroom hunting out of passion and fun. I just started to pursue this interest and I am confident in my ability to identify chantrelles, but that's about it. I did find a large cauliflower mushroom, which I feel pretty confident with as well, and I'm pretty sure I found a clump of oysters, but I feel less confident about this. I would really like to get out in the forest with someone who knows what they're doing and would like to point out mushrooms, tell me what they are, and show me how to tell. Let me know if you live on the Olympic Peninsula and are interested in teaching me, Ruby
