  1. Hello, I found these mushrooms that began growing on my grass. Their inside is mostly yellow but they quickly turn blue when cut or bruised. An automatic detection app said it was probably the Lurid Bolete, but I have been told that the stem is usually different. Any ideas of what these are?
  2. Hi everyone, I found these mushrooms growing in my backyard... it's been raining a lot the last few days so I'm not sure if that affects their coloring but I tried to get good photos. They don't stink or smell particularly strong just very slight earthy smell.. I have a dog who likes eating things he isn't supposed to. He's mainly an indoor dog but he still goes out to play ball and run and potty. We always go out there with him, but we can't always have our eyes on him so I just wanted to find out what kind they are and make sure they aren't deadly. Any help identifying them will be very much appreciated! Thank you and have an awesome day!!
  3. Found growing in Kentucky bluegrass under a tree where it was consistently shady. Smells like a white button. A few days ago it had friends, a cluster of 3 of them in varying sizes a few inches away, but they're gone now. This tree is sandwiched between a building and sidewalk. Low key want to eat it. Appreciate any help
  4. Please help identify these mushrooms. I am sure they are not edible, but I have a curiosity that won't let go. thank you for your help. Caps were about 3" to 4" across. They had a soggy or wet texture, of course it had recently rained hard, though the grass was dry. Thanks so much for your help.
  5. Hey guys, So I'm wondering if you can help me identify what are these mushrooms and if they are edible or not? I ate similar ones like these in Mongolia, the only difference was the head was grey and smoother, not white... Would really appreciate your help..
  6. Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me identify this mushroom. It was found in my backyard in Tennessee just below the top of the grass. I picked one in the same location a few weeks ago. I would like to know if it's harmful to my two dogs and if so, how I can go about getting rid of it for good. The area in the yard isn't covered by shade and doesn't tend to hold moisture other than morning dew. Thanks in advance!
