    Thanks Dave...I just got a new mushroom book on Amazon. Went right to the Dryad's Saddle page after I saw your reply. I honestly don't know on your question. I didn't keep them and can't remember. Not sure exactly why, but I am fascinated by mushrooms.

    Found some big ones growing on a trees tump. Also found some other ones on the ground that look like boletes. Not sure though any ideas?

    Hi - I just harvested these this morning. Pretty sure it's chaga...can anyone confirm? It's a just slightly over 4 pounds. Thanks.
