    The base does not have a sack or bulb. Does that help?

    Is this rare? About 3 inches across the cap, no sack/bulb, white gills. Found on cedar mulch.

    Thanks for getting back to me. Here is more info: cap is smooth, no scales & measures about 3 inches across. Margin is slightly scalloped. Gills are white & l don't see any sack or bulb at the bottom. Some more pics here, hope they are helpful.

    Found this on my flower bed on cedar mulch. Don't know anything about mushrooms. Is it rare/edible? I think it is a Leucoagaricus, according to Google lens. Any info?
