  1. Is this Fawn/Deer mushroom? growing under deciduous wood.
  2. OK thanks for the info, I will check it out.
  3. I haven't seen these before. Slimy cap and stalk, same as suillus, cap 2.5 inches wide. cap not flattening at maturity, some gills forking at stem. small clusters on hardwood, koh rust red on cap, not in picture. spore print brown.
  4. I also found some unknown pure white mushrooms. These were scattered on the ground under white pine trees. The taste is not bitter. The spore print is under way. What do you think?

  6. OK, thanks. It just didn't look white to me, but it must be.
  7. I found a lot of these in southern Ohio. Spore print is violet, which doesn't match anything I can find.
