Hi, I'm an illustrator, sketched this fungus in western Belize and wonder what it is. It was not at all translucent, and the color was a muted purply red as shown,no stem. Size about two inches across on the bigger cap. I've seen several, so it's fairly common in this tropical rain forest of western Belize, near Benque Viejo on the Guatemala border where I live.
