Thanks for the response! I should mention that the pot in question is very large (750mmx600mm), and contains a mature Japanese weeping maple and dense ajugas as ground covers. After much research, I considered your above suggestion, however the smell of the mushroom is sweet and woody. And the white spore prints? Thanks again!!

Hi there, A whole bunch of these just popped up in a large pot plant after many days of heavy rain and humid weather. I live in Sydney city. The largest one is about 80mm across and 80mm tall. They smell like a store bought button mushroom, very mild, perhaps even slightly sweet. I left one on white and black paper Indoors for about 5hours. Thanks in advance!
