Agaricus Newbie (1/5)

  1. Spore print is white. Clitocybe Brumalis?
  2. Not sure what these are. They were growing from the ground in a dense cedar grove. The margin of each had this kinda black look.
  3. Just got the spore print. I think you’re spot on! Peace!
  4. these were found in a large field. In the past said field was used to raise cattle, then horses. They were all growing separate from one another, except for two I found growing from the same anchor point.
  5. Found this growing on a stump. Unfortunately, I don’t have more photos. When opened, it revealed a reddish-orange mass. Is this a mushroom that has been parasitized by another fungus?
  6. That is AWESOME!!! I had pegged Panellus Stipticus as a possible culprit. Wicked cool. How long an exposure with a DSLR would capture that?
  7. This was growing on a dead deciduous log. I didn’t get the chance to take a spore print. They were tiny, but presumably young.
  8. Right on! I can’t seem to find a mushroom club in my immediate area. As such, I would like to say thanks for the dissemination of knowledge. I will keep the photos and inquiries coming!
  9. I found some Picipes badius earlier in the day (photo included). It had the tell-tale black stalk. Of the three specimens I observed of the former species, none had that particular feature. Is it possible for picipes badius to lack the black stalk? Especially three in a row.
  10. These looked blanched, as though this wasn’t their original coloration.
  11. Thanks so much for the help! The pores definitely seem more consistent with suaveolens than gibbosa.
