Thank you all for the input! Greatly appreciated. Looks like tea time! I got some pices of a huge mushroom that I am curious about. I did not harvest it. I have no plans to eat it. Just curious as to what iti is. I will post it in a new thread soon. Thanks again!!!!

I found several of these in different stages growing a few feet away from a dead or dying oak tree. I am fairly sure it is a Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum). Just looking for some second opinions since I am a novice. I think it is fairly safe to make some tea out of it since there are no poisonous look alikes that I am aware of. I appreciate any input!
