I found this in forested coniferous area. ( It did not stain when cut) It does look like a bolete but not sure which one. Any suggestions?

Thanks again Dave. I looked up the Hemileccinum you suggested and it definitely fits the bell. Greatly appreciated

Thanks Dave, No, as I recall. Here is another photo. Unfortunately I did not have my camera when I picked them.

I found this in Newfoundland today. I am fairly sure it is a leccinum but not sure which one. The pores stain yellow and it was in a forest probably under pines. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

We had an early and warmer than usual summer this year. I was able to pick the chanterelles at least two weeks earlier than usual. In turn, I thought that the season for them is coming to end sooner. However, yesterday I was surprised to see that a second crop is growing in many spots which I couldn’t remember happening before. Any thoughts?

I picked those this morning inna blueberry patch( close but not under a spruce). I was surprised that they were spared by the bugs unlike the few I saw earlier this week. your thoughts?

I was wondering if I missed the season of B. Edulis this season as I only saw very few till today. I picked these beauties this morning!

I have found those boletes under fir trees( where I usually find the King boletes). These mushrooms tasted fine . There was a faint yellowish stain to the spores.they definitely looked like bolete but I am not sure which. Any thoughts BTW, we had a lot of rain recently and most of the mushrooms were soft or outright rotten
