Indeed its too red for badius. Also the coloured stem is not badius. It really looks like Xerocemellus like you suggest.

Wow i ofcourse never thought about the fact i live in a different continent..... Ow i meant B. badius. il change that after this message. all the characteristics match so it problaby is a species of Xerocomellus. Thank you for youre help Dave!

hello all, As you all can see i am new here . let me introduce myself. My name is Wannes and i am from Belgium. Soon i will be moving to Sweden. im sorry for the incorrect spelling from time to time but i did not learn alot of English at school. i had to learn it by myself mostly. My hobbies are flyfishing, hiking, bushcrafting, woodworking and everything that has to do with nature. i have degree as a treeworker, and afcourse is really close related to fungi. Hello everyone, i am totally new to mushrooms. I will introduce myself later but really want to post this already. i found this mushroom in a litte grasspatch near a few oak trees. it clearly colors blue when i bruise it. Yellow pores on the downside of the hat, and red-orange flames on the stem. I cant find out witch one it is. Regards, Wannes
